Catching up!

This week I have been trying to catch up on things that I should have done, but were left undone!

I will clarify that a little by adding that in no way do I mean housework!  House work and I don't get on too well. We never did, though I think I used to tolerate it more than I do now. Therefore, when I say catch up on things, I mean more interesting things, but somehow managed to slip through my net.

Firstly, I decided that I wanted to thank one of the waitresses at Nidd Hall. She was really very nice to me when my husband was whipped into hospital. She always looked out for me coming into the restaurant every evening when I got back from the hospital.

I had been meaning to drop her a few lines for some time now, but kept forgetting. So this week I sat down and wrote to her. I felt so bad about leaving it for so long, I included one of my books. I thought she might enjoy reading it, (if she can ever find the time.)

Secondly, I thought it was about time I should add another Blog Post - it has been ages since I last spoke to you all. So here I am.

My husband had to see the Ophthalmologist at out hospital on Monday. He has been having trouble with blurred vision. It turned out that the lens implant after his cataract operation had done something - I am not sure what, but whatever it was it needed blasting with a laser. Anyway, it seems to have worked as he is seeing better now.

My friend and her husband have just come back from a visit to her family in south east England. They have been away for two weeks. I couldn't believe it when I heard they were on their way home. It didn't seem like two weeks since they went away. The days and weeks seem to be flying past. It will be Christmas soon!

I heard from my publisher that my novel Divorcees.Biz a fun romance is selling steadily at the moment. So that was a welcome piece of news. Hopefully my other books will not want to be left out in the cold and will follow suit!

My novel, "Murder on Tyneside" is still progressing slowly. I think my sister is fed up waiting for me to finish it. I have received two cards from her each showing a picture of the River Tyne and its magnificent bridges. I think they must be to give me inspiration or, more probably, to to tell me to hurry up and get on with it!! I have them standing on my desk and I look at them when I run out of ideas.

I think that brings me to the end of this post.
