Saturday & Sunday

Saturday passed rather quietly. Nothing happened, not that very much happens here on a Saturday, but this week, nothing even tried to happen. Altogether it was a rather deadpan of a day.

Sunday, was different. On Sunday, we went out to lunch with the MS Society. It is a chance for a natter and to find out what is going on in other people's worlds.  But more than that, the meal is planned, cooked and served by someone else!!  Not that I make a drama out of making meals anymore - no, those days have long gone. The least said on that the better.  Nevertheless, it is still nice to have someone else plan the whole thing  for a change.

The lunch itself was very nice, though rather slow in being served, but a couple of glasses of wine helped to stop us all noticing that! I had Roast Beef followed by Lemon Cheesecake.  The Cheesecake was delicious, really lemony.  My friend, who likes everything to be very strong-flavoured, would have been very impressed.

We chatted with our friends, before, during,  and after the meal, as it was the first time we had met up in a while, so we had rather a lot of catching up to do.

Now we are back to Monday again and one day this week we will have to go for our Flu injections. Not something to make your socks roll up and down, but if it helps to keep the Flu away, I will go with the flow...

Hope your day flows well,

Cheers!!
